Job Title: Project Coordinator 

Position Type: Volunteer

The Campaign for Recovery and Sustainability seeks an organized and driven Program Coordinator to support the planning and execution of our programs and initiatives. This role will work cross-functionally to ensure our programs run smoothly and achieve maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for programs, campaigns, events, workshops etc. including scheduling, venue sourcing, vendors, materials etc.
  • Develop program materials like presentations, handouts, facilitator guides etc. in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Liaise with internal teams (programs, communications, fundraising etc.) to ensure awareness and alignment on initiatives
  • Manage program budgets by tracking expenses, processing invoices, reconciling accounts etc.
  • Conduct research and data collection to support development of new programs and evaluate existing ones
  • Coordinate with communications team on promotion of programs through channels like website, email, social media etc.
  • Maintain organized program documentation, files and databases
  • Recruit, train and manage volunteers or interns to provide program support
  • Provide on-site coordination and staffing at program events as needed
  • Collect and analyze program metrics, feedback and data to report on impact
  • Identify opportunities for program improvements, new offerings etc. based on research and feedback

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years experience in program coordination, event planning or related field
  • Extremely organized with excellent project management abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, databases, online productivity tools
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for the non-profit’s mission of environmental sustainability and climate action
